Signing Up as a Producer

1. Welcome to BeatPal. Click here to register for a producers account.
2. Enter all of the information on the registration; enter the two words that appear in the CAPTCHA box.
3. Please read the terms and conditions to complete the registration process.
4. After completing the registration process, you will be prompted to check your e-mail for an activation link. Please open your e-mail and click on the link. Please note that it is possible that the e-mail from info@beatpal.com may have gone into your junk mail (ie. "spam") folder, depending on the filter options that you have on your e-mail account. If you continue to have difficulty in the registration process, please e-mail support@beatpal.com.
5. After you have clicked on the link, a new window will open that will take you to the login page for BeatPal. Please enter your e-mail address and password and click on the sign in button.

Getting Started as a Producer

1. After you have logged into BeatPal, click on the account tab on the top right of the page to access your account.
2. You will now see the back-end area of your account. There is an area for you to upload a picture that represents you or your company. This can be changed at any time.
3. Please provide a description of yourself and/or your beats, genre.
4. Under the 'Producer Profile Settings' section please select the genre that best define your production style.
5. Account information lets you change your pertinent information including e-mail address and password. The messages tab, as well as the inbox tab on the top rights of the page, will both direct you to the BeatPal messaging system. Here you can interact with all of the different producers and artists on BeatPal. The little red 'x' on the right hand side of sent and received messages lets you delete the messages.
6. To upload beats into the BeatPal player click on the 'beats' tab. This is where you can manage the beats you have in your player. The on-screen instructions will guide you through the upload process.
7. The 'sales' tab is where you will find a record of your sales.
8. The 'stats' tab will direct you to a page where you will be able to analyse the popularity of your beats. It will show you the number of plays over a given period of time for each individual composition.
9. The 'premium' tab will send you to the page that tells you more about the Premium Producer account.
10. The coding that you will need to paste your BeatPal player onto another page is located under the 'profile' tab. (Please note: the code is displayed on your profile page by default and can be made private if you wish)

Signing Up as an Artist

1. Welcome to BeatPal. Please click on the register button in the login box if you are on the homepage. If you are on another page, please click on the register tab on the upper right hand corner of the page.
2. Click on the purple button that reads "Artist Sign-up."
3. Please enter all of the information on the registration form, and enter the two words that appear in the CAPTCHA box.
4. Please read the terms and conditions before completing the registration process.
5. After you have clicked on the link, a new window will open that will take you to the login page for BeatPal. Please enter your e-mail address and password and click on the sign in button.

Getting Started as an Artist

1. After you have logged into BeatPal, click on the 'account' tab at the top right of the screen to access your account.
2. You will now see your page. You may upload a picture that represents you as an artist. This can be changed at any time.
3. Now provide a description of yourself.
4. The messages tab, as well as the inbox tab on the top rights of the page, will both direct you to the BeatPal messaging system. Here you can interact with all of the different producers and artists on BeatPal. The little red 'x' on the right hand side of 'sent and received messages' lets you delete the messages.
5. Account information lets you change your user information including e-mail address and password.
6. The 'purchases' tab is where you will find transaction records of the purchases you have made. This is also where your contracts will be stored for the compositions your have leased or purchases. Please note that purchasing contracts is optional.
7. Purchasing beats and rap instrumental is easy. Make sure you are logged into BeatPal while purchasing for the records of your purchase to transfer to your account. Please follow the instructions under the "Purchasing Beats" section (below).

Purchasing Beats

1. Once you have found a producer you would like to buy from (Either using quicksearch, advanced search, or checking our charts for the most popular producers) Select the beat you would like to purchase.
2. To do this, simply click the box next to the price located in our BeatPal player. Choose the licence that best suits you. (for more information on the different types of licences we offer click the license tab at the bottom of the page)
3. Once you have selected your desired beat(s) simply click the 'Buy Now' Button.
4. You will be directed to the checkout area. Here your selections will be saved and you can either continue shopping or checkout. *please note contracts have been automatically added to protect your investment, if you do not want a contract simply click the contract picture and it will be instantly removed
5. If ready simply click "Buy Now" once again and fill in the appropriate payment information. Your purchase(s) will be delivered instantly.
